Go Mommy Go Mommy Go!!
So, Sam is learning his numbers, letters, and colors these days. Being in the car seems like a perfect place to learn - I have his undivided, strapped-in attention! Yesterday, on our way home, he looks up at the traffic light and says, “Geen light, Go Mommy, Go Mommy, Go!!” (Say that with the same voice inflection as “Go Mommy, Go Mommy, It’s your birthday, Get Busy!!) I think I taught him that, but I’m not sure - it just came out of nowhere! So, does that mean he remembers things that happened several weeks ago, or do I just drive too slow? Who knows; either way, he’s such a funny kid! He is so happy! We can’t believe he’s turning 2 in one week - we’re having an Elmo birthday party…of course. Elmo - his best friend. When we ask him how old he’s going to be he says, “Elmo Birthday Cake?” We’ll have to work on that one.
Maggie will be 6 months this week! She LOVES to eat - sweet potatoes and avacado are her favorites. Sam loved avcados too: http://digiorb.com/blog/2006/08/ She’s sleeping really well, and still loves her big brother. He basically sits on her every day and she laughs. We’ll have to work on that one too.

Kids thinking about grad school already
Hate to see them get too far ahead of themselves, because hey, fractions are hard enough let alone standard deviations and correlation and activity based costing, but Sam and Maggie are already thinking about grad school. Good news is that I think they have made a good choice in Chicago GSB. Hmmm, I wonder what the tuition will be in 20+ years…
