Happy Spring!
We have had a few nice days in a row now….Sunday was our first official family bikeride of the season! Maggie and Sam loved it. We rode to the park, played for awhile, and came home. Sam didn’t want to leave the park - that was the hardest part! At least he didn’t fall asleep this time… http://digiorb.com/blog/2006/08/22/a-weekend-of-firsts-for-sam/

My brother is sleeping….

Maggie has a toofer!
It happened! Maggie’s first little toofer popped through her gums! She also has a little ear infection to go along with it.
She’s feeling better, but certainly doesn’t like us poking around in her mouth to see if there’s anymore. Sam was much younger when he got his teeth, (http://digiorb.com/blog/2006/07/), so we were glad to see hers come through!

Of course, Sam was missing the photo opportunity, so he had to do a little pose for the camera…

Happy Spring everyone!
Schlitz is making a comeback
So, I about tripped over my own feet at Kroger a couple months back when I saw they had started carrying Old Style. Outside of Wrigleyville, Old Style is hard to find. So I found it funny when I saw this article today. Now, if I could only get PBR in Indianapolis… a man can dream.
A lot happens in a month
The Barnett foursome took a family vacation to Miami! We had a great time…it was the first time Sam and Maggie were on a plane. Maggie didn’t know the difference, and Sam thought he was in a car - he really could have cared less. I think Mike and I were more excited than he was to be on the plane! The weather was great, hotel was beautiful, and the beach was amazing. Sam loved the beach. He loved it so much, he was, at one point, rolling in the sand! He loved the waves - he was even knocked down on his face twice! Sand makes its way into so many different crevices!

Easter was nice….Sam loved hunting for Easter eggs…and still is talking about the Easter bunny and jelly beans. We had an egg hunt at the Chiappetta’s with four of their cousins. Sam thought wearing pink bunny ears was just part of it.

The Macaso family came for a visit last weekend. Sam and Maggie had lots of fun playing with Bella and Sophie. Sam took three-hour naps both days they were here…he loved having a playmate to chase. We cooked, ate, drank, and shopped! Such a great weekend!

Maggie is 7 months old! We can’t believe it! She is talking more, rolling all over the place, and just about sitting up on her own. She loves the walk-around exersaucer and watching Sam. She loves taking baths with him, just until he bites her toes… Whenever she is upset, we just ask Sam to go and make her laugh, and all is well. No teeth yet, but we think they’re on the way. She loves all fruits and veggies, fruit puffs, and is just starting to suck on a sippee cup. She doesn’t quite have the hang of it yet, but maybe soon. She loves the ba-ba and her paci. All in all, she is a very happy little girl!
