Twelve Fish

Posted in Uncategorized by Cindy on June 28th, 2008 at 8:42 pm

Sam and Mike went fishing for the first time today! They caught 12 fish in a matter of minutes! Sam loved it….but didn’t really want to touch the fish. Sam loved playing with the tackle box too.

Strawberry Patch

Posted in Uncategorized by Cindy on June 27th, 2008 at 8:31 pm

We took the kids strawberry picking! Sam had a blast and Maggie just hung out in the baby backpack. It was a beautiful day…the strawberries were pretty picked over, but Sam and Mike managed to find some good ones, and then some bad ones. Sam loved picking them off the ground, handing them to Mike, and yelling, “Here Daddy, I found one!” Yuck!  Mike was in charge of Quality Control, so when Sam wasn’t looking, Mike threw it back on the ground.

Farmer Mike…

….won’t be too happy about this one. Baby Bunny #1 has discovered our onions and continues to eat them day after day. Today, Sam, Maggie, and I made an activity out of watching this little guy. Hey….how about some cilantro or oregano with those onions, buddy???

stop eating them!

9 months and growing up fast

Posted in Uncategorized by Cindy on June 5th, 2008 at 2:03 pm

Maggie turned 9 months on Saturday! We don’t know where the time went - her first 9 months have flown by. She is 19 pounds and wears the same size diapers as Sam! She loves to crawl and has 2 teeth, and 4 teeth about to make their arrival. Maggie loves to swing at the park with Sam and still loves watching him make funny faces at her. She gets really upset when Sam takes her toys away. We’re all excited for the summer - we’re going to visit Nana and Poppy in Gatlinburg while Mike is in Asia. Here are some recent pictures!
